  • PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
    The Beach Elite Boys Academy is an introductory competitive volleyball program for boys ages 10–15. It bridges the gap between clinics and full club volleyball by providing structured team training, coordinated weekly sessions, and competitive development in a positive and high-energy environment.

    WINTER 2026 SESSIONS
    Beach Elite will offer two separate sessions, allowing families to pick the commitment level that fits their schedule.

    WHO:
    Boys ages 10-15 years old. Beginners or light intermediate

Meet the Coaches

  • LUCAS CASTILLO

    BOYS 16s ELITE

    Over 2 years coaching experience. Currently Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Copper Hills High School. Head Club Coach for 4 seasons prior as well as ran many clinics and camps.

    Coaching style focuses on fundamentals, building strong defensive skills, correcting technique to improve performance, and supporting each player’s growth both on and off the court.

    Master’s in Healthcare Informatics and work as a Compliance Supervisor in the healthcare industry. Lucas speaks 5 languages.

  • JENNA STRATTON

    BOY’S 15s ELITE

    Over 5 years coaching experience. In Las Vegas, she coached high school girls at Somerset Sky Point Academy, and girls 16s at Vegas United VBC. She moved to Salt Lake City in 2023 and currently coaches JV Boys volleyball at Copper Hills High School and just finished her second season. Jenna brings a pure passion for teaching and coaching and wants her players to succeed as all around athletes.

  • BRANDON HANSEN

    ASSISTANT COACH - 16s

    Brandon started playing competitive volleyball in 2014 in Colorado. Since there wasn’t boys volleyball at his middle school, he managed the 7th and 8th grade girls teams. He became a practice player at CBHSVA in 8th grade. He also played club for Team Colorado Volleyball.

    Collegiate player for BYU Idaho Men’s Club team 2021-2024 in the Mountain West Conference. He went on to coach the women’s club team at BYU I from 2022-2024

    Brandon earned his Bachelors Degree at BYU- Idaho and graduated in Health Psychology
