  • BOYS VOLLEYBALL

    DESCRIPTION: Our focus is to learn, work hard, and have fun! We as a coaching staff are committed to instilling a strong work ethic, teaching your child how to master the indoor volleyball game, creating positive results both collectively as a team and individually as a player, all while also having a ton of fun!
    The 5 month season will be full of lots. of practices and tournaments. BE was born on the beach and we will having beach training the first part the season and we promise that our players will get better, faster and stronger on the beach. The results they will see this year will exceed all expectations.

    SEASON LENGTH:
    Mid August 2025 - December 2025

    PRACTICE SCHEDULE:     (Subject to change)

    • Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-8pm. 2 or 3, 2 hour practices a week @ Summit Academy Bluffdale

      • Sept 3,8,10,15,17,22,24,29

      • Oct 1,6,8,13,15,20,22,27,29

      • Nov 3,5,10,12,17,19

      • Dec 1,3,8,10,15,17

    • Tuesdays 5-7pm @ Safe Streets Beach Courts, Lehi

      • August 19,26 Sept 2,9,16,23 

    TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:

    • 6 tournaments (included in fees)

      • 3, 1-day tournaments

      • 2, 2-day tournaments

      • 1, 3-day tournament (grand prix)

      • 1, AAU National Qualifier

      • Option for 1 Travel tournament (CA or NV) (additional fee)

    Tournament Dates:

    COST: 

    • Total Fees: $2,800 (early bird). $3,000 (late)

    • Payment Schedule:

    • Commitment Day Deposit due - $900

      • 1st payment due September 1st

      • 2nd payment due October 1st

      • 3rd payment due November 1st

    INCLUDED IN FEES

    • Gear package - 2 jersey tanks, 2 t shirts, hoodie, backpack, Shorts

    • Player league registration, conditioning, coaching fees and gym and beach rentals for regular season team practices.

    • Participation in the scheduled tournaments*

    NOT INCLUDED IN FEES: AAU membership ($22) and USAV membership (possible). Beach Elite AAU Club code for 2025/2026: UXGAE3PRH

    ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENTS
    These would be in addition to the already included tournaments above should a team vote to add more into their schedule. Cost per player
    3-Day Travel Tournament $300
    2-Day Travel Tournament - $250
    2-Day No. Utah tournament - $180
    1-Day No. Utah tournament - $80

    • Mondays and Wednesdays plus one extra day on the beach courts (Lehi Safe Streets), 2 hour practices a week @ Summit Academy Bluffdale. June will be at Utah Military Academy or Safe Streets

    TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:

    • 1 tournament (included in fees)

      • 1, 3-day tournament (AAU NATIONALS - Orlando FL)

      • 1, AAU National Qualifier

    COST: 

    • Total Fees: New players - $1450. Returning players - $1300

    • Commitment Day Deposit due - $500 then monthly payments

    INCLUDED IN FEES

    • Gear package - 2 jersey tanks, 2 t shirts, hoodie, backpack, Shorts (returning Fall players do not get new gear)

    • Player league registration, conditioning, coaching fees and gym and beach rentals for regular season team practices.

  • Boys 15 & 16s National: 6pm-7:30pm

Meet the Coaches

  • LUCAS CASTILLO

    BOYS 16s ELITE

    Over 2 years coaching experience. Currently Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Copper Hills High School. Head Club Coach for 4 seasons prior as well as ran many clinics and camps.

    Coaching style focuses on fundamentals, building strong defensive skills, correcting technique to improve performance, and supporting each player’s growth both on and off the court.

    Master’s in Healthcare Informatics and work as a Compliance Supervisor in the healthcare industry. Lucas speaks 5 languages.

  • JENNA STRATTON

    BOY’S 15s ELITE

    Over 5 years coaching experience. In Las Vegas, she coached high school girls at Somerset Sky Point Academy, and girls 16s at Vegas United VBC. She moved to Salt Lake City in 2023 and currently coaches JV Boys volleyball at Copper Hills High School and just finished her second season. Jenna brings a pure passion for teaching and coaching and wants her players to succeed as all around athletes.

  • BRANDON HANSEN

    ASSISTANT COACH - 16s

    Brandon started playing competitive volleyball in 2014 in Colorado. Since there wasn’t boys volleyball at his middle school, he managed the 7th and 8th grade girls teams. He became a practice player at CBHSVA in 8th grade. He also played club for Team Colorado Volleyball.

    Collegiate player for BYU Idaho Men’s Club team 2021-2024 in the Mountain West Conference. He went on to coach the women’s club team at BYU I from 2022-2024

    Brandon earned his Bachelors Degree at BYU- Idaho and graduated in Health Psychology
