TELL ME ABOUT BEACH CLUB?

Beach club is for youth players that want to excel at competitive beach volleyball. Practices can range from 1 to 3 times a week and under the direction of professional beach coaches. You can play beach volleyball your whole life and this is a great start to that adventure!

How many times a week do you practice?

Beach - During Summer season we practice an average of 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) and an in house tournament on Friday. In the off season (September-May) we practice three to four days a week
Indoor - Elite teams practice 3 days a week. Developmental practice 2 days a week.

How long has Beach Elite been around?

We love this question as we love to tell our story. We officially started as a beach club in 2014 with some of the most talented indoor players in and around Newport Beach. After only one year, we drew the attention of and partnered with AVP pro Casey Patterson, partnered with an massive adult beach sports league, attracted and acquired three sponsors and our youth membership grew by 183%! And that's all in the first year!

Our Southern Utah program’s started in the Summer of 2020 with Summer camps in Washington, UT. Our first year of indoor club started in August 2020 with teams playing in a middle school league followed by tryouts and year round club in October 2020.

Our Northern Utah beach program started in Summer 2020. Our indoor programs started in December 2021.

Do you have an indoor program as well?

In November of 2016, we officially started an indoor program in Costa Mesa. We started with a girls 13u club team and our team did very well. So for 2017 we opened the door to adding both boys and girls team. We currently have competitive teams from ages 8-18 years old for both boys and girls. Our only requirement to play with us: You want to play and get better at volleyball!

We practice at middle schools and high schools in Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach, CA. We compete in the SCVA and OC VolleyHigh leagues. We have indoor programs in St. George Utah and Northern Utah

Do you have an adult program?

Yes. We have beach volleyball classes in Southern California and Northern Utah

Up until 2018 we had NIGHT COURT for all of our adult beach players! This was a very unique league in that we play under the lights of the beach volleyball court at Los Caballeros Sports Club in Fountain Valley. We offered short 5 week seasons that include playoffs and finals. Teams are coed and either 3-man or 4-man. 

WHERE are YOUR BEACH FACILIties?

In the Summer of 2020 we moved our main beach courts Magnolia Street to Brookhurst Street at Huntington State Beach. We currently have 9 professional courts all designed, installed and maintained by Beach Elite. There is a roundabout right in front of our courts to provide easy drop off and pick up for our athletes. We also have special discounted State Beach Parking Passes available for purchase. In the Spring of 2018, we were asked to host classes through the city of Newport Beach at Corona Del Mar beach courts and 15th Street courts on the Balboa Peninsula.

Why Should I play for Beach Elite?

We are experts on the beach and indoor. All other clubs in Orange County are indoor programs first and some have tried or are trying to create beach programs. Beach Elite was born on the beach and proven itself as a beach powerhouse with its positive programs and excellent coaching style! We know the beach game better than anyone else. Our indoor coaches are experts with huge resumes. Our owner is a Division 1 university coach. We also are very active in providing service to our local community.
