We will visit the elderly at one of our favorite nursing homes in Huntington Beach. We invite our young athletes to bring their favorite Christmas stories and read them aloud to the attendees. We would like 5-10 of our players to read one story each to be read outloud. We have a handful of Christmas books we will be bringing to the nursing home in case you don't have a favorite story.

CHRISTMAS BIKE TRAIL BLITZ
We did something similar to this last year and it was a big success.
We ask that our players and parents prepare something to put into each gift bag.
- Individually wrapped cookies, brownies or other sweets
- Christmas ornament
- Individual Hot Chocolate Pack
After our morning practice, we will place our items in the bags, walk over to the concrete island in between the road and the bike trail and hand out our presents to those that use the bike trail. We ask that parents come and help assist the kids. We also will assign some players to take gift bags to the local Police Officers, lifeguards and other staff members in the building by the volleyball courts.
